Patterns of movement by kangaroo mobs, galah flocks, finch families and goanna young. Day by day the rhythm of the place grows within.

Have just found your blog, and your post about your new island home, gives me a little ache in my heart. I'm originally form Adelaide, but for work reasons left in the early '90s, I've been in Melbourne ever since: and I love it. I go back to South Aust every year to help my dad on Anzac Day. But you info about KI reminds me of when I crewed on the Melbourne tall ship Enterprize in it's Flinders re-enactment. We sialed through the night across backstairs passage to KI - American River. Absolute magic, and a great memory.
